QUEST GUIDE

Start Date: As soon as possible
Wage: $16.85/hour + tips

About the Position
• Part-time summer position
• Must be 19 years or older

Responsibilities

  • Host groups entering the facility
  • Narrate room scenarios and explain rules/safety features
  • Monitor player progress and provide hints when needed
  • Deliver friendly and engaging customer service
  • Reset rooms between games
  • Help maintain the facility
  • Book customers online and over the phone
  • Sell board games
  • Serve beverages and enforce legal age restrictions
  • Assist during pop-up escape rooms and conventions
  • Work evening and weekend shifts
  • Support corporate and larger group sales
  • Other duties as required

Skills & Experience


The following are considered assets:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Customer service experience
  • Creativity and game hosting/development experience
  • Strong attention to detail and organization
  • Retail experience
  • Smart Serve certification
  • First Aid certification
  • Familiarity with Google Calendar
  • Cash register/POS experience
  • Knowledge of the Vend POS system
  • Reliable transportation or valid driver’s license
  • Comfortable using an iPad
  • Social media content development
  • Experience with Facebook, Instagram, Twitter/X, and social media ads
  • Interest in puzzle, room, prop, set, or tech design
  • Knowledge of board games

]]> After 10 years in business we thought it was time to shake things up a bit! Meet Quizy! An experience that will finally let Nan feel like she is on a gameshow! Do you enjoy shows like Jeopardy and Who wants to be a Millionaire but think they could also use a few mini games? Quizy has got you covered. Looking for a new way to hang out with your pals and have a time? Quizy has got you covered there too! Quizy can be played with 3-12 players! There are six podiums in the room that be shared by 2 people that will help you answer and play Quizy.

A Quizy game unfolds over 7 rounds, sometimes you’ll answer questions, sometimes you’ll hit a sequence of buttons, sometimes you’ll steal points from other players, and you will almost always dance. We plan to continually add more Quizzes to our selection pretty frequently so you can keep coming back. Oh! And we’ll also be serving a variety of alcoholic (Max 8 People) and non alcoholic beverages (Max 12 people) to enjoy during your game as well! All of this sounds like the perfect evening out, an awesome birthday for young and old, and an awesome way to kick off a bachelor/bachelorette party!
